X3D-Earth Globe Under Development

Welcome! This site presents the recent efforts that have been involved with the Extensible 3D (X3D) Earth project. The X3D-Earth project will create a standards-based 3D visualization infrastructure for visualizing all manner of real-world objects and information constructs in a geospatial context.

Note: The X3D Earth globe models in this website will work only with Xj3D (release 10/11/2007 or latest build), because of the geospatial component such as GeoLOD and GeoElevationGrid.
